Christine, or Teeny, as her mama likes to call her is just the sweetest little thing!
It was so funny, because I’ve been asking the seniors to send me pictures of their outfits before the session, via text message, so I can be a little more prepared with backgrounds and location ideas.
Well… Christine’s mom made her pose in her clothes right after tennis practice when she was all grimy and she had her hair in a ponytail for some of them, and it was curly, and she was wearing glasses. And for some reason she looked super tall.
You can imagine my surprise when this tiny little thing with straight hair and contacts walks in my door. LOL!
We had a great time that day. Teeny had lots of cute outfits and we made them ALL look AMAZING!
It’s been so crazy around the studio the last few weeks, with high school seniors stopping by almost every day. Between the photo shoots and the ordering appts… the time just flies by!
I feel so blessed this year. I’ve been meeting some amazing high school seniors and their families. Abbi here was one of the latest. She blew me away with her personality. She’s beautiful, inside and out… but she really knocked my socks off when she posed in her cheerleading and danceline outfits.
Maybe it helps that Mason City’s colors are the same as my old highschool colors, but I LOVE their uniforms! Marketing research proves that red, black and white are the most effective attention grabbing colors. And I agree, whole heartedly.
But back to Abbi’s sweet jumping skills… isn’t she amazing! LOVE THIS! We definitely need to do some kind of multi-opening collage with these. They are just TOO good to just simply be in the proof book or a wallet sized print.
I also loved all of Abbi’s other outfits. Seriously, if I could fit in her clothes, I would have done a reprints/wardrobe swap! heheee. Not sure how thrilled my husband would be about that idea. 😉
Of course, we had to do the images in the field of flowers… this time I loaded up my big orange chair. Definitely a favorite garage sale find! The girls laughed as I drove it down my driveway on my ATV. LOL! They even took my picture.
(I believe you can’t take yourself too seriously! Show your personality and don’t worry so much about impressing people. They should love you for who you really are.)
I’m trucking right along with my senior portrait season, here at the studio! It’s Megan’s turn in the spotlight today, and boy, can this girl shine!
I loved working with Megan and her mom because they are super sweet people. Megan is just as beautiful on the outside as well! Look at all her amazing images in the slideshow below!
The clothes she chose really worked well and enhanced her natural beauty. I loved all the dresses! I was hoping she’d forget the cute dress we photographed in the water in the dressing room! 😉 Just kidding! I’m sure she wears it better than I would.
Well, back to the grind stone! Have more sessions to proof and another senior this afternoon at 1pm!
I photographed Heather’s sister a while back… oh, was it four or five years now? I can’t remember without looking it up. I think it was five.
What I do remember is how much fun I had with her older sister, April and their mom. I was thrilled when they called me earlier this year to get the ball rolling on scheduling their senior session.
Heather is very photogenic. She has such a sweet face and a great smile! It didn’t take her long to warm up to the idea of being in front of the camera.
I loved all her fun outfits. Her prom dress was AMAZING! Very unique. But my favorite is the one where she surprised me by offering to climb the bin ladder in her dress and boots! Glad she did!
Wish I had time to write more, but I have three senior sessions, and a wedding on the computer to proof… and I have three new seniors and a family session this week so I have to keep ahead of the curve!
